Our Story
Our Rhinebeck Flower Farm Story
Six years ago, Hannah Ostrowski left a corporate marketing job in Manhattan, moved to the Hudson Valley with her partner Eli, and planted a quarter acre of zinnias, dahlias, and sunflowers. She started selling bouquets at the Rhinebeck Farmers Market.
Within two years, it became a full-time farm. Today, Tanglewood spans three acres with over 200 varieties of specialty cut flowers, including more than 80 varieties of dahlia that have become the farm's signature.
Eli handles all the infrastructure: irrigation, field prep, and deliveries. Their friend Sam, a photographer who shoots for Martha Stewart Weddings and Magnolia Journal, captured the farm in its full golden-hour glory last August.
The farm is a proud member of the Hudson Valley Flower Collective, a group of six farms that share resources and coordinate crops to keep the Hudson Valley blooming.
